Dramatic trilogy about the Seven-Years-War 1756-63, the most vevolutionary period in the Rococo era. All campaigns were completely new examined in german since a long time.

The book includes a brilliant quantity of material concerning all fronts of central Europe 1758-59. Finishing the domination of the Habsburgian Monarchy in Germany after more than 500 years, it affected every single inhabitant, either  through effects of war directly, or by way of plundering and the spreading of diseases.

Two graphic-design experts especially made 3-D animations and schemes nowhere else seen before, and the book is full of toy soldier scenes in cinema style, which emphasizes the dramatic performance. In a very clearly form of expression, the occurrences at the river Oder, in Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia, Saxony and western Germany get connected. The first time for the Age of Rokoko, all locations and distances are tested by modern satellite navigation and joined in the text in a geographic sensefull way. Not even the single name of a hamlet turns up without an accurate description of situation. Therefore, interested people are spared of laborous  card-reading work to understand the campaigns. The book is easy to consume and thrilling like a criminal history. It is also an examination about the origin of Germany as a state. Many experiences of protagonists reflect the tragic and irony of history. A comparable book did not exist so far. German language.

Vol. I:

Der Weg nach Leuthen

Volume III is the great final of our lively and thrilling trilogy about the memorable course of the Seven-Years-War. This period was the most dramatic and radical change during the era of rococo 1720-80, in Europe and furthermore.

Without any partisanship but descripted vividly and in rapid succession, one can adapt the exciting, authentic and testified ups and downs of the years 1760-63, until the fightings run out at all fronts.

All locations of events or march directions of troops are verified with modern navigation systems. Because of it, the readers get their bearings very easy on the various scenes, without being obliged to look at the detailed maps, which are available as well. The lively characterisations seem like roller-coasters of fate of all men or parties involved. It appears very disconcerting, that the revolutionary events were so less examined in Germany for decades.

Seven campaigning seasons happened, full of dramatic turns of the tide or changes of fate, full of tragedies and ironies. At the end, from all possibilities occurred the most unlikely. The monarchy of the Hohenzollern survived, which state would gave the impetus for the unification of the German Empire about hundred years later in 1871. For the present, Prussia escaped extremely narrow from partition or reducing to electorate, because of numerous peculiar coincidences as well as by skillfulness of its king. Moreover, after a very unexpected course, the outcome of the war was really clear at the end - a resounding defeat of the alliance led by the austrians.

The illustration of the book is splendorous, with countless vivid diorama pictures in cinema-style, numerous maps and reproductions of paintings.

Lively, detailed descriptions lead the reader through incredible, but testified ups and downs of the years 1760 to 1762, until the fightings run out at all fronts.
